West Bromwich Albion are set to announce Barnsley manager Valerien Ismael as their new boss today [Joseph Masi, Express and Star].
Ending months of speculation, the Baggies are set to bring their hunt for a new head coach to an end after Sam Allardyce departed the Hawthorns last month [Independent].
The West Midlands club are believed to have paid around £2 million in total to buy Ismael out of his contract, whilst the 45-year-old and the Baggies hierarchy are said to have taken the last day to iron out backroom arrangements [Express and Star].
